New Sylvanic Video and Fasano Video 2009

There are amazing similarities between these two videos. We know Bigfoot likes to hide and you can see in the Sylvanic video that the creature ducks. In a video I took in Florida last year, you can also see the ducking movement.

New Bigfoot Area

I was turned on to an almost inexhaustible supply of Skunk Ape hunting areas in the Central Florida watershed areas. I worker for SWIFMUD gave me a handbook that shows and maps the areas to look for the Florida Bigfoot. He believed that something was out there. I am very excited. 2010 is going to be a very good year, and if I can upgrade my equipment things will rock.

BFRO Now On YouTube!

BFROVIDEOS's is now on YouTube. I can't help but think it was a matter of time that the vaunted BFRO would finaly turn to social media to get their research out there. The modern times have been calling. This video is their solving of the Great North Bigfoot Mystery. It is excellent.

A New Cypress Creek Found

These are the type of areas that would be a natural habitat to the Florida Skunk Ape or bigfoot. It is loaded with water, hiding places and wildfife. The research requires that you get out and look. I need to get trail cams for this new area since it has not been explored, and looks promising.

Along this creek were wild citrus trees that showed evidence of feeding. I beleive something that was capable of removing the fruit from a great height, and peeling them with fingers, got to this fruit.

GPS And The Search For Bigfoot

I believe in the new technology such as GPS in finding the locations that may be favorable for the location of Bigfoot. I have recently upgraded to this and found it very useful the other day in finding an overgrown river in Florida that is a fresh water source for animals.

The red "X" is my location as I am moving away from the small blue "X" which marks my starting point. The long blue thing is the river I was trying to get to.

I had to find my way thru a remnant of a trail that had not been used lately, but it was worth it. I was able to get out to an area most armchair quarterbacks will never see if it were not for my videos.

Campfire Shadows

Join your hosts Shane McMahon and Vic Cundiff around the campfire every Wednesday night, as they talk to guests about anything and everything to do with the Big Guy. You know. Bigfoot. This is one of the most interesting Blogtalk Bigfoot radio shows that I have found on the internet. They create a real spooky feeling that makes it all more interesting.

The link to their show is at Campfire Shadows.

They seem to always come up with guest that have real knowledge and experience in the Bigfoot realm. Recently they had on Carolanne Salomon Cryptoseeker of Tampa Florida, one of the best Florida Skunk Ape Researchers. She has been doing this for years, and is very experienced. Her website is her fantastic MySpace Page.

Skunk Ape Footprints Found On Jungle River Bed

I found what was a very large print in a remote area along a jungle river, wild and primitive. Could have been a sunbather, right? Not really. This print was from a large primate.

Stay Hydrated When Looking For Bigfoot

Hydration is important in the Florida heat when you are out for hours looking for evidence of the Skunk Ape. I got into trouble once in Citrus County on the "A" hiking loop when I ran out of water and was miles away from the trail head.

Skunk Ape Footprints Found Along Cow House Creek

I found a series of footprints of a primate along Cow House Creek (a tributary of the Hillsborough River) near Tampa Florida. I found them the day before when I was scouting and had left my media card at home, rendering my camera useless.

I returned the next day and I am thankful the prints where still in good shape when I relocated them.

I have no way of casting prints at this point, however, I did get a good series of still shots like the one here. There were a total of three prints lined up headed for the river bank. I guess they come in at night to drink. The water is rather nasty for my taste, but they must need it to survive.

I posted this video about it on youtube.

Skunk Ape Habitat

This was one of the best outings I had today into a deep jungle area off of the Dead River complex in Hillsborough County Florida. I saw a tremendous amount of wildlife and evidence of large animal activity. I still need more time to get into this area and do an overnight and set up trailcams.

There was a large abundance of wildlife today. The importance of wildlife and water is that it is necessary for the existence of a large bigfoot. Food is important and eating plants and bark is not out of the question.

The more I do this, I believe that trailcams and secret devices are the way to go. It just does not seem likely that you will just walk up upon a Bigfoot and take his video like Patterson did. He hit the lotto that day. Don't expect it to ever be repeated.

The only thing that us Bigfoot field researchers can do is just go out and put in the work. One day, one of us will get very lucky. That you can count on.

DNA Evidence Of Bigfoot From Canada Monsterquest Episode

I was watching an old Monsterquest from 2007 the other night on the Monsterquest Marathon. There was an episode titled "Sasquatch Attack." It was about a group of Bigfoot researchers that went to a cabin on a remote lake in northern Canada that had be the location for some strange going ons.
A couple years ago the cabin had been the scene of a rock throwing episode in which campers spent a frightened night as rocks pulverized the roof. Monsterquest personal went on top of the cabin and found many rocks laying on top. Since the cabin is not below a cliff or mountain range, where did the rocks come from?
Dr. Jeff Meldrum and Dr. Estaban Sarmiento went on the six night expedition to gathers and analyze clues. An incident that was downplayed was a trap they had set out which was a bed of nails.
They placed a board with nails sticking out near the back door. In the morning there was blood and tissue samples. To make a long story short, it was analyzed in a laboratory and found to be 99 percent primate. The DNA was close to human but no cigar.
I call that proof.

America's Funniest Trail Cam Pictures

A trail cam can not only tell you where the animals are at but it can yield some interesting images. Where else can you find a "Coonhog" on the move?
The trail cam can show you what you might expect if you spent significant time in the area or camp out overnight. Sometimes you will see strange things like this image.
Anyway, have a happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
See you back in the field soon.

Deep Florida Jungle Hunt For Skunk Ape

This swamp area of jungle was so humid, look at the moss that is growing on this palm tree. The humidity is so thick you can cut it with a knife. The temperatures lately have been near 80 but they should be cooling off over the Thanksgiving holiday. That would be a welcome relief for us Floridians.
I spent several hours going way out into this track. I captured on video the audio of three separate knocking episodes. I have a new theory about "tree knocking" in Florida. I think that palm frontons are being used. They are easy to pick up off the ground, they are hard, and smacked against another palmetto bush, they sound loud indeed. Forest floor wood is to wet and eroded to do much good.

I also believe that I may have picked up a human imitation vocal. Something seemed to be following me on a parallel track. I kept hearing something coming from my right. In fact, I point to the area at the moment the sound "oh, come now" is heard. I think that is what they said.

The video is over nine minutes long but it is important to watch the whole thing to get the feel of what is going on.

Larry Battson To Discuse Bigfoot Theories

Larry Battson believes there is evidence that Bigfoot is more than a character in a beef jerky commercial.

Battson -- a wildlife educator and founder of Wildlife Educational Services -- will talk about Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot, on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the auditorium at New Castle, Indiana-Henry County Public Library, 376 S. 15th St.
During the free program, Battson will discuss the "real possibility of a rare and relatively unknown creature that may roam the forests of North America," according to a press release.

Is Bigfoot really some type of human-like creature? Battson has been studying Bigfoot for 30 years and travels the country to research the alleged sightings. Recently Battson was featured by History Channel’s MonsterQuest. Battson and his wife Cheryl operate the Wildlife Educational Services in Greencastle, Indiana.

Ocala National Forest

The Ocala National Forest is a 430,000 acre preserve. It was the first National forest east of the Mississippi River and is the furthest most southern National Forest. It is also one of the best areas in the country for Bigfoot sightings. That is why this area has been on my radar for months. I have just been waiting for the weather to cool down.
I recently spent a weekend in the area and got a lot of footage to put on my YouTube account. I am in the process of editing the videos. I got some great nature photos, that made it worth the trip. Unfortunately, I did not have a Bigfoot sighting. That would not have been strange for the first time coming up here.

I have scouted out many primitive camping areas and will be taking some overnights deep into the forest in the coming months. Some exciting things are planed. I hope to have some positive evidence by March. But you never know.

The Ocala Forest is a beautiful, and adventurous place. I can't believe that it has taken me this long to get up here.
