No sign of human impact on Sasquatch blind

A comment was left that pointed out something about the Sasquatch blind that I did not think of. Humans would have something to sit on considering they could be all day out there.
"Tim : No indentions or impressions from maybe a foldout chair or possible milk crate sized square inside blind ? Common for hunters or photographers...Just curious? I Understand no legal hunting is allowed... This seems pretty awesome and legit."

A beautiful morning in the swamp

When you have been squatcing most of the night, there is no better sight then a misty, fog shrouded landscape, to make the trip worth it. This is clearly one of the benefits of being a Bigfooter.

Night optics during Bigfoot expedition

We are using a full spectrum camera (modified) that allows a search party to move to the tree line in total darkness by using thermal lights. The images are captured on a camera screen at base. By getting up close we can avoid the obvious shortcoming of "Finding Bigfoot" that only uses FLIR from a distance. Our method puts a researcher close to whatever made the hot reading then bathes the squatch in thermal lights getting a spectacular image.

George and his gadgets

George is a paranormal investigator who works production for a major cable television channel. He also has and makes many gadgets that could be useful in Bigfoot research. This is an EMF device they use in ghost investigations. He is trying in the tonight to see if any readings show up.

A fuel log on the fire

The sun was setting in the Green Swamp as I arrived. Before you can do Bigfoot stuff, you must perform the maintenance if the camp. This meant finding firewood for it was going to be cold tonight. That was fine for we had our night optics and were ready. This was going to be fun.

First returns trail cam "A" summer deployment 2013

VIDEO0250_0000071482_1
Tim and Kevin very happy to find trail cam A
We headed out yesterday on the first real cold day of the year in Florida to retrieve two Reconyx RC60 covert trail cams. We had deployed them in areas where we knew there was an abundance of wildlife. We were not disappointed. The cameras had been in field for six months (May 13, 2013). Today was November 13, 2012 and we were very glad to find the cameras and that they had functioned properly.
There was one sequence of interest where something seemed to be stalking a flock of birds. The area did fill up with water, and became a total swamp. This was good for the presence of wildlife was massive. Anyway, here is one of the deer and one of many herds of deer that were photographed.

3rd annual Green Swamp Bigfoot expedition

I arrived with great expectation at the Green Swamp campsite for the last two years had yielded good evidence. The team has grown and there would be at least eight tents in location.
We had a documentary company filming and Kevin and Mike were shooting for the Skunk Ape episode of EA-TV for local channel 38. It was going to be a fun time.

Reconyx RC 60 results from last spring 2012

This was six months ago before this area became a lake. The pig would have been under water. The last deployment taught us that wildlife loves the swamp area when its dry and that pigs don't swim. Without critters, the big guy stays out as well. :
We went back to trail cam "C" after three weeks in field. We loaded new batteries and switched out the media card. This game cam will sit out until November. That will the only time it will be possible to get back in there. The storm season is upon us in Florida and the water in the bugs will prevent any real access to this area. That is exactly what we want.

If this animal is a swamp beast, this will be the perfect environment for him. You can see by these pictures that the area is teaming with wildlife and other predatory animals. Food sources abound. Combine water, cover, vegetation and meat and you got a skunk ape paradise.

A Wiley Coyote
He sees the camera..damn that Wiley boy

Kevin and I exchanged the old batteries for the new Copper Tops that should provide enough life until November. The purpose of this trial cam project is long term and months left in field is the ultimate goal. Short outings, even up to a month, is not reccomended by people with lots of experience doing this. The criptid can smell man like deer can. Your scent is left behind up to five days after you have left the area. You really want the area to be clear of your presence and let the trail cam "settle in" and become part of the environment.
For example, Derick Randles of the Olympic Project says they leave their cams in field for six months in very remote locations. It often takes overnight backpacking trips to reach them. They have to be marked with GPS coordinates so they don't lose any units.
That would be our ultimate goal with this project. Areas north of the Green Swamp such as Ocala National Forest would afford overnight backpacking to reach areas in the wilderness areas, far away from any campers with RV's.

Kevin captures something large and cool on video

Something large was paralleling Kevin as he went through the tree graveyard. You will see it near the end of the video. In fact, Kevin says what it is at the start of the video. Its still cool to watch, however. This area we have worked and it has yielded great results. It will be the scene of the next Reconyx RC60 covert trail cam deployment.

The sun sets on a Bigfoot expedition

Sunset is the best time of a Bigfoot expedition. I finally made it to the campsite about one hour before sunset. The team helped out and in no time my tent was up and my gear organized. I was stoked. We had a long day excursion planned for the next morning but now it was all about the night trip to the tree graveyard.

A nice fire to keep us warm
Kevin and Mike did some filming for the introduction to EA-TV episode of the Florida Skunk Ape. This is a project that has taken us into the third year of planning. The show does feature other aspects of the paranormal world, such as, ghost, UFOs, lake monsters, and so forth. I was excited to see that everyone was together and we were shooting in the field. In addition, there was a documentary company shooting as well.

Bryan and Sam from Big Wolf productions came with their camp gear and they were ready. It seems they are not just film makers, they are are experienced backpackers and know their way around the outdoors. That just gave us more capable people to assist. They wanted to remain objective and not do research. They only wanted to document what was going on, and shoot lots of "B" roll to help the documentary look slick. They had already shot Stacy Brown Jr and his team from north Florida, and now, they were shooting our team

Bryan from Sarasota documenting the event
After we wrapped up the interview segment of the show, we got our gear and headed out into the night. We would not be disappointed. We would be amazed by what we heard and saw. Check back tomorrow for lots more.

"Moon over Myakka" the search for Skunk Ape

This is a video that will give you a flavor of the type of night operations and primitive camping scene that is going on in Myakka River State Park. We are searching hard for the Florida Bigfoot and some things are going on down here. It is not just Tim Fasano that is seeing and recording stuff, Stacey Brown and his boys had some type of an encounter Friday night and they tried to get it on thermal, with no luck. They did have multiple witnesses to the event.

Relaxing after a Bigfoot hunt

This area was the site of a BFRO investigated Bigfoot sighting. We found a footprint along a creek. Overall a very cool area.

Bigfoot blobprints!

The story of the Bigfoot print in Ohio is getting much play. A Bigfoot research group in southern Ohio went out to investigate and found this print. What is it? Do we now have "blobprints?" Researchers are trying way too hard if you ask me.

Cathy Betz featured in Michigan expedition

Cathy Betz is the local Tampa Bay Bigfoot sighting investigator for the BFRO. I have never met her or been contacted. I find that odd. She must be aware of the amazing work and effort and methods our team puts into this research.
I would really hate to think that this is political and I am still viewed as an outsider. This just in- I have been around for years and I'm now part of Bigfoot culture. That is a fact. Lets have coffee.
This photo is Bets in the upper peninsula of Michigan during a summer expedition. Would love to go but again this black ball process continues. Anyway, good job Cathy.

Stacey Brown Jr and team find Bigfoot prints

Stacey Brown Jr and his team found a possible trackway of Skunk Ape prints that measure 14 inches. The ones we found in Myakka River State Park were 15 inches. In both cases the prints were uniform in size.

Hair sample found six feet in a tree

Maybe we should submit this to the Ketchum DNA Bigfoot study. Kevin is six foot three and found hair on a tree at his eye level. This was found a few weeks ago in the Green Swamp. He does not know what it is and everyone he shows it to says it is hair. These are the things we look for when deciding to deploy a game cam.
We are keeping evidence and perhaps one day we will release our findings.

Welcome to September

We are getting closer to Skunk Ape season. Fall will soon be in the air up north and migratory season will be upon us. I am wondering how the lack of hurricanes will affect things? It just might.

This is Kevin last winter wearing a sweater. I love those days. Hopefully, we may get down to the glades and see David Shealy at the Skunk Ape research center. That would be beyond cool. He has a campsite right there with trails leading off.

Skunk Ape search in Myakka River State Park

This expedition with Stacey Brown Jr and his team showed the presence of a large primate in Myakka River State Park.

Green Swamp Bigfoot video goes viral...sort of

Shaun, at Bigfoot Evidence blog, has the latest video from the Green Swamp expedtion on his site. I'm not sure what it is, but I know something was out there. We just don't know what we are dealing with.

Bigfoot and artifacts

Kevin filming the gator
The river we were following along was clear and wild. The brush was thick and we had to forge our way through. I was thinking not many on land had been in this area. The water was so clear Kevin said that if it was not cold, he would go for a swim. He saw something that changed his mind. A large gator loomed nearby. It was also in a strange place. We had stumbled upon something very interesting.

We came upon the remains of an old logging camp. Logging of giant cypress trees in Florida reached it heyday in the 1920's. Most of the houses built in that era were made of that wood. If you ever watch the TV show "Axe Men" you know how much money is paid for trees. In Florida the Great Cypress trees were hundreds of feet in the air. They were known as "Florida's Redwoods." It was a crime to decimate their ranks as they did. When they were done, they packed up and left.

A strange looking gator
We found an old bulkhead and large chains still attached to trees up above (that is how they lifted them up to place the cypress on a rail line that had been put down through the Green Swamp of Florida. I have no idea how these guys survived during such a primitive time. George even found what was left of a low-tech latrine that was rather sophisticated for that time period.

George watching from the bank
The gator was just off the bulkhead or seawall they had created for a couple of hundred feet to pull the trees into after they were floated down stream. If you came down that creek by canoe, you would certainly run into guys like that gator. Be warned. This is not a very safe place. You can get hurt and or bit by snakes and bugs (like I was). When we got out of there, I was beat. I crashed as soon as I got home from hours of hiking. Don't get me wrong, this was fun and I would chose to do this no matter what.

Bigfoot powerline theory

Bigfoot uses man made corridors such as powerlines, forest roads and horse trails to gain access and cover large amounts of ground. Forging through the thicket would not be an effective way to manage this. So Bigfoot takes advantage of what he finds just like many other animals do. There is also a theory that Bigfoot communicates on the high tension wires by knocking on them, sort of a Bigfoot cell phone.

Rare summertime expedition into Green Swamp

It is extremely rare to have favorable conditions for the swamps this time of year. Kevin remarks about the lack of bugs. That was the one thing that made this tolerable.I was very happy about being in the swamp this time of year. The Tampa area was underwater from storms and we had a clear sky with a full moon, and no bugs. Cool.

Bigfoot expedition Green Swamp

I am very tired but I have a lot of stuff that made this trip very special. Everything went right. The weather and the bugs cooperated and we made it to Skunk Ape Mountain. I will soon upload all the video. We hide nothing.

A test

See were it goes

Headed to the Bigfoot expedition

The area looked good with sign that humans had been out here in months. The weather was cooperating with no rain or bugs. We were very excited about this rare summer Bigfoot expedition in the Green Swamp.

Postcard from Sarasota

Kevin and I met with the founders of Big Wolf Productions today to discuss the upcoming documentary they are planning about the Skunk Ape. They were great guys with some interesting ideas. We hit it off with them and have already scheduled a backwoods camping trip for the last week of October (the one I offered to Matt Moneymaker).

This photo was at Square One Burgers. If you have one up your way, I highly recommend going. The service was great; the food was awesome. Kevin and I can't wait until autumn. Its going to be a great Skunk Ape season. Really good things to come.

Other methods for finding Bigfoot

With the Falcon Project being launched, its a good time to consider other types of research techniques. We have tried navigating waterways. It makes sense. If the Skunk Ape is considered  migratory, he could be using rivers to travel along. Most structures I have found have been near rivers. In fact, all Bigfoot researchers have found most of their stuff near waterways. That only makes since. However, it means we can guess his behavior to some extent. This is how a discovery will be made. Random luck is also very helpful

Cryptoflorida and his sick/dead relative

Did your stupid relative die a painful death? I can only hope. I notice in this photo you are not holding the gun, pussy. Can't wait to meet You, asshole.  Your not exactly a NYT best seller are you fag?
As you say:
"Now it's true I have not been active in the publishing department for the last year and a half. I have been caring for an elderly family member suffering with extreme dementia, Alzheimer's and who is recovering from a brain tumor. Part II of the three part series is done and has been awaiting artwork copyrights. Something you will be finding out about real soon. And part III is 80% done. My book sales are great and with the invention of digital books.....I am selling 15-40 books....A WEEK!!"
3 bucks a book. Below the poverty line. Did your relative die Powell? I am so sorry.

The footprints of Skunk Ape

These prints were found in a watershed area moving in front of a game trail. The prints were smaller then my foot, and obviously bare in nature. With the rain, mud, and bugs out here, I don't think a human left these.

Searching the Picnic Island mangroves

I went to the south end of Tampa today where the mangroves line the shore. There have been Skunk Ape sightings in the Everglades where they have been seen swimming between mangrove islands. Nothing like that today, just a beautful day and some dudes fishing.
