I live in Tampa and have been to this park many times. It is full of wildlife and is a favorite with photographers. I have never thought of it in terms of Bigfoot because it is in NE Tampa, but on the outskirts.
Apparently, the Skunk Ape lives here. A video shows the Bigfoot has a tail!!
A video has surfaced from the same person that sent me the photos of the footprints taken at the canoe launch at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa. I will email him back and see if he has any other video or photos he can share.

This is getting exciting because the thing was taken in the open in daylight. I was in there this morning for only an hour but had no idea of this recent development. I will put my scepticism aside and get in there to do a full investigation
A nature photographer reported a Bigfoot sighting near Tampa to the Florida BFRO. One of their field investigators did a followup. She believes its real and we went to the area based on the Google Earth skin of the sighting map. This area is the best wildlife area Kevin and I have ever been to. Game trails were everywhere and I suspect this is an ambush point. We will soon have covert trail cams up in this area. This is all part of "Florvanic" the land of the Skunk Apes. When they found out we were doing this, the BFRO removed me from their FaceBook ground and the field investigator removed the comment I had made on her video. Its nice that politics have nothing to do with research. Good grief.
Our team has captured a Bigfoot body in Florida. The arial drone sending back HD video located an off trail anomaly. Enhanced images showed a primate form. It was on a forest road in the Green swamp not used for months because much of it is under water. George and I used the 4x4 to reach it. It was a non human primate dead of natural causes. Kevin hiked out and it took the three of us to load it in the truck. We only had two ice bags and went into town to get more. While George and I were shooting video - it moved its arm from under the tarp into the air (all photographed,) I saw evidence it was breathing again and seemed annoyed. Because of this development, we are going to release the video TODAY at 5:00pm. This is what you have been waiting for. Enjoy. No money will change hands. Sasquatch is not for sale. We will soon begin shooting a pilot episode for a potential cable TV Bigfoot show. The guys I currently work with are already TV production professionals and understand how this stuff is done. I will be learning along the way. I have purposly surrounded myself with talented guys and it is now paying off. We have brought in an outsider to manage, produce and edit the project. This project will last months.
We are in the planning stages and this video will be part of it. We are also lining up people who have come forward with Bigfoot pictures, videos and cast from Florida that have not posted anything on the net or contacted BFRO. Witnesses and material will be unique to this project.
We are putting in all we have to make this a go. I am sure people will find the show not only entertaining, but as this video shows, we will present compelling evidence. We may even through in a little monkey for entertainment.

Editors note: This is from the BFRO website. It is about a Skunk Ape sighting in Myakka River State Park in 2008 by a nature photographer. The sighting was only 1,000 feet from where the famous YouTube sighting of March 2 occurred. The recent video shot by the lady was 1,000 feet in the other direction. Because of these recent events, I will be there Saturday to investigate this location and where the women taped the creature the other day. Kevin will be at a UFO event in Jacksonville, so I will be by myself. This should be fun...a lot is going on down in ole' Myakka!

I do nature photography as a hobby, and i was told by my father that the best time to go shoot nature photography is early in the morning since that is when most nature starts to wake up and animal activity is at its most active, so i took my father's advice and decided to get up and go do some photography at around 6:30 in the morning just when the sun is coming up and there is light. I was walking down a path that is active with tourist and some animal life, there is even a wooden tower that stands 70 feet in the air down the trail where you can see directly over the forest perfectly. A lady leaving Myakka State Park video taped what she thought was a bear. She had heard about the Bigfoot investigation and wondered if was the Bigfoot. There ARE NO BEAR in Myakka as one of the commentors points out. The park will verify that. This animal is walking on two legs the drops down. The location is at the brudge 1,000 feet from the park entrance. It likes Myakka was the spot.

I had an opportunity to go out Easter Sunday with Damian Bravo of Team Tazer Bigfoot and Kevin Thomas Kehl of Enigmatic Anomalies. I have worked with Kevin many times in the swamps and he has been instrumental in locating spots for trail cam deployment while inspiring me too go even deeper then I ever have before. With the introduction of Damian of Team Tazer, the opportunity was groundbreaking. Face it, you really don't see alot of groups working together.

You may have noticed that at the start of 2012 my research took a turn that I think is for the better. One, I have only focused on my field work and stopped commenting about what others are doing. Two, I almost always work with others now. Everything from a weekend canoe trip in January to deep field work in the swamp with Kevin has been included. If you have been watching ALL my videos, you know that Kevin and I have found some remarkable things.
A large field of prints in the flood runoff plane was found and now casted. Kevin also found what we think is hair five feet up on a tree. As you know, we are not experts in zoology. However, we show and put our stuff up for others to give input. Everyone so far believes it was hair we found. The prints we found have toes and are large. We also found a strange pig kill that even hunters have not been able to tell us how it happened. We did not represent that as a Bigfoot kill, I only said Matt Moneymaker on National TV said BF kills in such fashion.

In the past, I faced ridicule and scorn by working alone. People said I was 'hoaxing' my stuff. The fact that I was alone meant I could pull anything I wanted, and nobody would be there to observe. Now, that I only work with other people who have experience (an attempt to elevate my game), I am now being accused of 'riding on others coattails.' It seems you can't win for losing in the Bigfoot world.
I have gained nothing by doing this. I am losing subscribers and blog hits. In early 2012 I had over 900 subs on YouTube; today I have 890. I am losing ground. Gee, I thought if I went "legetimate' I would get more. My blog used to get over 15,000 page views a month when I trashed talked; I am now down to about 7,000. I am losing ground. Going legit does not seem to be what you people want. I do this on my own dime. I am paid nothing. Just what is it I am supposed to be after?
In this video you will see Damina Bravo of Team Tazer describe what he saw in the woods. HE SAW IT - I DID NOT. You will also see us walk up on some prints and hear his genuine reaction to that. Again, am I that cleaver to get all these people to go in on some hoax while I lose YouTube subs? This makes no since.
Easter Sunday was a special day. I had the pleasure of working with Damian Bravo of Team Tazer Bigfoot. We planed the outing after a conference call with Shaun of Bigfoot Evidence blog. Since Damian was currently in Florida, it seemed like a natural thing to do. I told Mr. Bravo that he could take all the video and images he wanted, just as long as he did not reveal the area we were in. He agreed.
I met Damian and we went to the trail head were he interviewed me on camera for about 25 minutes. He set up his lighting gear and cameras right on the edge of the road and again - no questions were off limits. After the interview, we headed for the trail.
It was a beautiful day with clear blue sky's and low humidity. That was good because we had a long hike in front of us.
I was able to show Damian what are strategy is and why we select areas to work. Much thought goes into these decisions. The area we headed for was chosen because it the epicenter of the South West Florida Water Management flood zone area. We the amount of vegetation, water, cover and wildlife, it was perfect for a Skunkape habitat. Damian agreed.
I will have more later as I post the videos. They really tell the story. At one point, Damian saw something moving in the Palmetto field. We ran in and tried to track it down, with no luck. Damian, on camera, told us exactly what he saw. I could tell from his initial reaction that it was genuine. He seems to be an honorable man.
Robert Pridjem at Lembo Lake Campground in New York State may have recorded a small Bigfoot in a tree. There were many people there for camping and fun. One of the groups sitting around a campfire recorded some strange behavior in a tree. It may show a baby Bigfoot swinging around. It seems to also show an adult, as well as, the juvenile.
The Animal Planet show Finding Bigfoot will profile this video in the season premiere on Sunday night. This video is not the only one ever taken of a Bigfoot in a tree. Tim Fasano recorded one in the summer of 2009. He posted it on Youtube and many experts examined it and confirmed that there was something in the tree.
What Matt Moneymaker will point out Sunday night is how long the arms are on the creature. I want you to notice how long the arms are on the creature that I shot in a tree in Florida three years ago. Chuck007 and Joe Black did a great job in analyzing this video
Last May a group of Bigfoot hunters and researchers came together in the swamps of Florida. It yielded a class A sighting by Mitch Waite of Arizona. Waite has recently put up a YouTube video about the clear differences between hunters and researchers. I would put Mitch in the researcher class, as with me.
The people we worked with in Florida were hunters. They took aggressive action and were ready for anything that may come out of the woods. Their style was not mine.
I go unarmed. I have no weapon. I come in peace and only want to communicate with the primate. I do not want to harm it in any way. Bagging a type A specimum is not my goal.
Others want fame and money for this. That has never been my objective. That may be why I am so protective of the methods used and calling out the hoaxers in the field.
Any method will work. You just have to get out into the woods and figure out your own style.

The weather is turning cooler and the new Bigfoot season is upon us. But before we go full bore into the 'Bigfoot Season' in Florida, I wanted to post some videos from last summer (which is the slow time for us).
I did get to work in the field with 'the worlds greatest Bigfoot hunter' Tom Biscardi. He brought along some of his crew and we even had a class "A" sighting in the field. This video was taken just seconds after Mitch saw the Bigfoot from the back of Tom's SUV.
I was in the vehicle behind them and I could see all four of his team pile out and run into the bush. They were moving fast for a bunch of old guys. I caught up with them and documented it on video which you can see here. Mitch is a devout Mormon and there is no way he would lie about what he saw. The creature was moving into the exact area where we had put up the trail cams and bait. We were confident it had played into our hands.
The two videos below show what happened just seconds after the Bigfoot sighting in the Green Swamp of Florida. We were on the Polk county border.
I have for two nights been on overnight outings in a jungle area near a primitive river in Central Florida. There has been a lack of rain, so the bugs are not bad. This video shows movement on the top of the berm that paralels the river. it is about ten feet up and something can be seen running along the top going from right to left. I beleive I have captured the Florida Skunk Ape in this video. I also walk right into a large spider web.
This was the first sighting that I have had that included movement. The one I had in October of 2009 was only a still which I call the Fasano photo. This video was shot during a two day, two night skunk ape expedition in Central Florida on December 7-8 2010. Two years of Bigfoot research is paying off.
I received a message from a man named Greg May who said while he was hunting with his cousin troy, they found a baby 'skunk ape.' They were in the palmetto scrub and hammocks near his camp at Bull Creek. They had been out there all night and had found nothing. The next day in the hot Florida sun, a child ape ran out of the bushes and jumped into Greg May's arms. He took him home and adopted him.
I would really like to believe him. He seems like a nice guy. It is possible that this is the offspring of a released exotic. I have no idea. The animal should be examined by a vet to make sure it is not an unknown species.
The account of the monkey find is at The Adopted Legend. It sure does look like a chimp. It could be something someone let go. But since nobody has ever captured the Florida Skunk ape, we really don't know what this animal is. It is also possible that Greg is playing a practical joke with me. That is ok. I can go along with it for now. I do thank him for sharing this with me. Its not like much else is going on.
A skunk ape sighting was reported to the website database at Floridaskunkape.com on a sighting under the Kennedy Bridge near downtown Tampa Florida late night where the creature was spotted swimming. The person that reported it believes the skunk ape was eating crabs. There are people who do not believe that bigfoot sightings can occur in urban areas. There have been many if you do the research.

There it was….a large object slightly larger than a man. It looked like a head just above water. It was moving towards the bridge slowly. It appeared to turn slowly around and look in my direction. Then it appeared to be eating something. I could hear a slight crunching sound. It disappeared into the darkness under the bridge. The next day at work I walked over to where I saw the mysterious sight and noticed several dead horseshow crabs along some rocks near the bridge around the vicinity of the University of Tampa. I am now working this very active secluded area in the wilderness Green Swamp area in Polk county Florida. I am finding amazing things, including a skunk ape structure and video of part of his body.
Compare this photo I shot from the same spot after I took this 51 second video of something very large standing in a clearing and turning side to side. I don't know what it was. It was at least 200 yards away and could only be seen barely with a 400 mm lense. You will have to make up your own mind on this.
This was taken in the SWIFMUD area North of Tampa Florida where I had taken the "blobsquatch" image after the water levels receded.
This was late in the day after I had filmed video for over a couple of hours. Something caught my eye from a considerable distance. This is not easy. I shot the film and I am still not sure what I am looking at. When I went to photo mode on my camera, the thing no longer seemed to be there.
The object seems to be moving around in the center of the screen. This was a video taken right after I Photographed the blobsquatch photo in the SWIFMUD area in Central Florida.
There are posters on YouTube that think my skunk ape was really the moss on the second tree shot in different lighting conditions...The lighitng has been the same for the last 10 days in Florida, and I have been in field at the same time each time I was there.
The white tree with the black spots is to the left almost off the image. When you consider how thick and how much space my "blobsquatch" took up, I don't know how this could be it.
The poster at first thought it might be a "stump" and ordered me to go find it. Now that there is no stump, he thinks it is the tree with moss. Since it is unlikely to be the tree, I guess it will now be a UFO or something.
