Tim Stover back in action

Tim Stover slowed down a lot the last couple of years. Things must be lining up for him to get back to full time Sasquatch hunting for I am seeing more videos from him. I am very glad about this on a personal level. Tim began Bigfoot hunting about six month before I did. This is why he is the original YouTube Bigfoot guy.

Unfortunately, YouTube has been taken over by hoaxers. In my opinion, the top 5 sites on YouTube are straight out hoaxers. Some are more subtle than others but they are all fakes. It was not that way when I started almost a decade ago. Tim brings back a lot of good memories for me.

The Skunk Ape image from Lettuce Lake Park Tampa, Florida

I live in Tampa and have been to this park many times. It is full of wildlife and is a favorite with photographers. I have never thought of it in terms of Bigfoot because it is in NE Tampa, but on the outskirts.

Apparently, the Skunk Ape lives here. A video shows the Bigfoot has a tail!!

A video has surfaced from the same person that sent me the photos of the footprints taken at the canoe launch at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa. I will email him back and see if he has any other video or photos he can share.

A great vantage point from there

You will see there is an observation tower at Lettuce Lake Park near the swamp area where the Skunk Ape was video taped. I will be there tomorrow to do a full day long investigation. I will be posting photos live time on this blog and the TimFasano.com blog, as well.

This is getting exciting because the thing was taken in the open in daylight. I was in there this morning for only an hour but had no idea of this recent development. I will put my scepticism aside and get in there to do a full investigation

Tom Biscardi offers a $3 million dollar Bigfoot Project Investment

Startups are famous for setting big, hairy goals. Carmine “Tom” Biscardi wants to catch Sasquatch—and is planning an initial public offering to fund the hunt.

Mr. Biscardi and his partners hope to raise as much as $3 million by selling stock in Bigfoot Project Investments. They plan to spend the money making movies and selling DVDs, but are also budgeting $113,805 a year for expeditions to find the beast. Among the company’s goals, according to its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission: “capture the creature known as Bigfoot.”

Investment advisers caution that this IPO may not be for everyone. For starters, it involves DVDs, a dying technology, said Kathy Boyle, president at Chapin Hill Advisors. Then there is the Sasquatch issue. She reckons only true believers would be interested in such a speculative venture.

“This would be the kind of thing where if you believed in Bigfoot, or you thought there really was a Bigfoot and you actually had some money to burn and wanted to play with this, then go for it,” Ms. Boyle said. A lot of ifs

Investigating a BFRO reported sighting area

A nature photographer reported a Bigfoot sighting near Tampa to the Florida BFRO. One of their field investigators did a followup. She believes its real and we went to the area based on the Google Earth skin of the sighting map. This area is the best wildlife area Kevin and I have ever been to. Game trails were everywhere and I suspect this is an ambush point. We will soon have covert trail cams up in this area. This is all part of "Florvanic" the land of the Skunk Apes. When they found out we were doing this, the BFRO removed me from their FaceBook ground and the field investigator removed the comment I had made on her video. Its nice that politics have nothing to do with research. Good grief.

Field report from Kevin and Teri in Kentucky
