A Vocalization Of A Giant Ground Sloth Recorded Near The Amazon River
I was asked by observers how can you have a recording of a Giant Ground Sloth if they went extinct 10,000 years ago. That is because Pat Spain and his sound engineer went out to a very remote part of the Amazon basin and recorded a strange sound at night. If you enlarge the vocals on a modern tree sloth, the sound is almost identical. This segment on BEAST HUNTER captured the recording and the explanation of why they think it may be a giant ground sloth.
