This is the TV broadcast of our team on local Great 38 TV of the Bigfoot episode. Pretty cool being on TV and we hope to be doing much more in the future.

A day in the wilderness

Kevin and I took advantage of a an excellent day in Florida and went hiking in the Starkey wildlife area in Pasco county. This amazing place is 30,000 acres of wild land surrounded by civilization. Many people don't even know its there. For those that do, it offers a real chance to see what Florida looked like centuries before developers entered this area.

It was only a short drive from Kevin's house to find our way to this place. Immediately upon entering, we could see a deer right up by the front. Kevin says the park is infested with deer. In fact, one of his crew members heard from a cab driver, of all people, that the wildlife commission was authorizing a deer hunt because the Bigfoot population was growing and deer were drawing them in. How about that!

Our goal for the day was to make our way back to a wild river which is a watershed for it. We drove several miles into the park to get as close as we could. We still had a difficult hike in front of use but it was worth the time and effort to do this.  The conditions we encountered heading back there were not ideal. The area became very muddy and swampy, and this is the dry time of year. We knew we were in an old growth area because of the size of some of the oak trees we found along the way. We shot a video at this spot and I laughed about finding something that was wider then me. At his point, a lady hiker with a backpack walked up from behind of Kevin and almost scared him to death. The photos here show just how big and old these trees are.

We finally got out to the rivers edge. It was a smelly and bug infested area. I don't even think Skunk Ape wants to hang out here. Even with the mud, there were no prints. Not even anything we could play up as a print. Not many come out here, but if they did, they were wearing boots. Speaking about boots, I was sinking into the mud to my ankles. Kevin did manage to maneuver on logs. In fact, he was considering tight rope walking across, but considered otherwise.

We did find another trail that led us to an even larger expanse of the River. However, it crossed through an old settlers land. You could see what was left of an old barn door (I think). Someone had put a stop sign up but was of no use. Hikers before us had knocked the thing down and went in anyway.

The sun was getting ready to set and we had to get back to the car. Overall, the day was a success. The air was cool and the bugs were somewhat under control. They will not be in a few months and it was important to get to this area now.

This video was shot at the end of several hours in field on Turkey day 2013. This is the short version so it will fit on this blog and get to the point. I believe I am going to use this blog and format for I am getting very tired of the crowd on YouTube and what is going on there. I want a following that will like what we are doing and take the time to find this blog.

Kevin and I were out last Friday in a new jungle area. Kevin found what looked like a series of footprints. He is very good at finding these things and I followed his leed. The only issue we had was lack of toe detail. Because of that, we put it in the maybe category, and moved on.

This question was posed on the Above Top Secret website. Decades have passed since the Patterson/Gimlim film and there is still no hard evidence; so just what are we looking for? Is it really a giant 800 lb creature or something else?


FINDING BIGFOOT made it look really easy. A skunk ape behind a house in Florida, a skunk ape along a canal in the everglades (a horse), a thermal hit from a caravan of cars in a Georgia National Park, a Bigfoot going for a zagnut candy bar in North Carolina, a series of Bigfoot howls in the Oregon woods at night, a rabbit being stalked by a sasquatch in Washington, a Bigfoot breaching a laser parameter line in Alaska. Do you see where I am going with this? Is it really this easy Matt? Or is cashing the check the easy part? I find research to be very frustrating from a technical and scientific standpoint. The methodology can never be figured out.  I had a response that I posted on the thread:

"I am an Independent "skunk ape" field researcher from Florida, and find the work frustrating. It is getting difficult to use even some basic scientific methods in my work. For example, I am unable to repeat anything I have found or experience observation of any kind.
I have found footprints of different sizes. I have gone back for months into the same area and never found anymore prints. I can't tell you how frustrating this is to me. I have recorded howls at night that don't match anything I am familiar with. (It could be a sick animal, for example). Again, I cannot get another recording of said animal.
Forget about a sighting, I have some videos that show motion but only in wide angle with extreme loss of resolution when blown up. Sightings are reported in Florida all the time and I go to these areas with not much luck.
Frustration is no reason to give up on anything in life. But when I see the BFRO making money "hoaxing" on the Finding Bigfoot show when they seem to find something every time they go out....I cringe. That is not possible folks.
If Bigfoot exist, it is extremely rare and has an ability to elude man which is unknown to any other animal. Perhaps trail cams would, in the long run, yield more evidence. That is the direction many researchers have now taken, and where I am headed."...Tim Fasano

The BFRO seems to think that there is plenty of evidence...it is just how you measure and gauge such stuff.

 The assertion that there is absolutely no physical evidence is absolutely false. There is more physical evidence than most people realize. Physical evidence is found every month in various areas across the country. Distinct tracks that do not match other animal tracks, hairs that match each other but no known wild animals, and large scats that could not be made by any known species, are all "physical evidence."

Teri and Kevin are great friends of mine and I do Bigfoot research with them. They ate also UFO investigators, and usr their objective approach in field research. We should be working Wednesday when a little cold front will be moving across Florida.

Old growth forest at Dames Caves

When we were in the Withlacoochee State forest, I noticed how old is much of the forest. Logging does not seem to have affected this area. However, I am sure some went on decades ago. I was very peaceful and quite on our hike out to Dames Caves. This is the time of year I really enjoy for in a couple months, it will be way to hot and buggy to get out here.

George and I had an opportunity to take off for the Citrus Track of the Withlacoochee State forest. I did not want to miss this chance. So I loaded up the car with camping gear and headed out to the location George had secured at the Holder Mine area on the north end. After a two hour drive, I met up with George on this Friday night. 

We gathered firewood, then, headed out on one of the forest roads for mile at sunset. George thought he saw something and we stopped to investigate.

What is cool, is unlike other places, in here you can drive your own vehicle on a network of roads within 155,000 acres of land. It is almost endless in scope. The sun was setting and it was very nice just from that aspect. At one point, George thought he saw something and we stopped to investigate.

We grabbed out gear and jumped out of the truck. By using the golden hour of the sunset, we got some awesome shots. The truth is it was Friday night and I would not have wanted to be anywhere else. We wold continue until dark, then, go back to camp. We had a good night and next day ahead of us and I was excited.

A few miles ahead there was a cave formation that we investigated and I did find prints. You will have to see the video after I get it up on YouTube. Stay tuned.

Bigfoot photographed in Florida

Most people think Bigfoot is a hoax. But Denise DesChenes is convinced that she has seen the mythical creature — once in person, and other times when it was unknowingly captured in pictures and videos she took during walks in the Goethe State Forest.

DesChenes never believed in Bigfoot before. She said she really never had time to pay attention to what was around her when she used to ride horses in the woods.

But what she has witnessed over the last few years during her walks in the woods has changed her mind.

“I hear them walking with me and I know they're there,” she said, deliberately using the plural. DesChenes said there is more than one creature out there.

DesChenes said she stopped riding her horses in the Goethe State Forest because her bad back made riding too painful. Instead, she started taking long walks with her dog in the forest and other preserves near Dunnellon.

“When I started walking, that's when I started noticing things,” she said.

She started taking still pictures and video and remains convinced that, in the background, she has captured Bigfoot. She has even asked professional photographers their opinions on what the large footprints and dark figures lurking around bushes and trees could be.

“I just had to ask someone else,” she said.

According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) website, www.bfro.net, there have been several other Bigfoot sightings in the same area over the past several years: two in the Goethe State Forest, which is in Levy County, and another in Rainbow Springs State Park near Dunnellon.

People who follow me know iI do weird stuff, like search for Bigfoot. We are serious about it and post our videos on YouTube. The problem is that site is being taken over by hoaxers, like TimberGiantBigfoot and Sasquatch Ontario. They have loyal followersThat believe their bullshit. I don't.

Spelunking at Dames Caves

George and I found our way to Dames Caves. These are limestone caves formed by water over thousands of years. This photo is me coming out of the cave. I explained to George the conditions inside were too wet and I wanted to return when dry to get way back in the cathedral areas which requires crawling on your stomach thru passage ways. You will get hundreds if feet deep....then...cave-in....cool.

I just got back from this expedition and I am beat. George and I went two hours north to enter the Citrus track of the Withlacoochee state Forest. This track is 155,000 acres and you can get lost. Anyway, more later after I get some rest.

I put this photo on Facebook from the Bigfoot expedition, within minutes, Rob recognized it as George. His posture and attention to detail gave him away. George is awsome and one of the best tech guys in the business. Plus, he's an expert on the paranormal.

Pig skulls everywhere

We found many kills that looked like an animal had done it. Bones and skulls were plenty. This is a couple we had on the table and in a tree. We believe we found the area where Skunk Ape ambush prey in a hog rooting area.

We had fun for three nights but I got sick and don't feel like posting. Just to let you know it was great and I hope to be back posting tomorrow.

Aztec Snake 1 Bigfoot expedition

I entered the widerness area, and set up camp. I gathered firewood by dragging it to the fire ring. George will be here soon with a "secret weapon" while we are camping in the search for Bigfoot. The Falcon Project will spend a fortune. We are going to go skyward for a lot less.

Bigfoot expedition AZTEC SNAKE begins today. The area we are working is near an old Indian mound shaped like a snake. It is large and can only be seen from the sky. Who built it and why?

There have also been Skunk Ape sightings in here. I believe there is a colony of them and we intend to find evidence.

Tim Fasano and Scott Marlowe


I had lunch today with Cryptozoologist Scott Marlowe Of Florida. Scott and I have been friends on the Internet for some time, and it was time we met.

Scott has always been supportive of my research, and has defended me against false claims made about me. He has taken the time to talk to me often on the phone, and has got to know me as a friend. He is a very good guy.

Scott is a college teacher, writer, and crypto investigator with some new and novel ideas about finding the Florida Skunk ape. I was looking forward to meeting Scott Marlowe.

We met at a diner in Winter Haven and shook hands. I felt like I had known him for a long time and that this was not the first time we had ever been together. We were very comfortable talking about anything. Scott has been around this game for a long time and knows just about everyone in Bigfoot. He warned me about the politics, and trolls, and how to deal with them. Scott had a club sandwich with slaw and I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries.

Scott is also a film maker, and has appeared in many documentaries about paranormal stuff. He has nine published books and has been doing field research for decades. He is still active and very motivated to find the big hairy guy in Florida. He also believes eco-tourism is the wave of the future and experts are needed as guides.

Scott has a new book out called The Cryptid Creatures Of Florida in which Charlie Carlson does the introduction. The book not only deals with the skunk ape and the Sasquatch being in Central Florida, but also ice age animals that may still be around. As you know, I have put forth a theory that the giant ground sloth may still be in the jungle.

We layed out a map of Florida and Scott showed me the migration patterns of the skunk ape and the stationary locations of permanent colonies. Working smart and not waisting you time in areas that are not colonies is what a researcher needs to do. His input was invaluable to me. My game has now gone to a new height because of the information I received from Scott.

We will be working together in November in a known transitional area to catch them on the move. It does seem people don't want that to happen and are trying to undermine the outing. That will never happen. We will go private if we have to and protect our research and locations. We do not need gate crashers.(I wrote this in 2011 about Scott Marlowe. I had nothing but praise for him. He subsequently decided he did not believe I was fit to be a Bigfoot researcher. He questioned why I attended a nudest camp when I was over weight. He also questioned why I had once photogaphed Playboy models (he never mentioned the nature and wildlife images I specialize in). He did not asses my body of Bigfoot work. He judged me on moral grounds. He is judgementalon matters unrelated to cryptid research.)

The DNA results on these skulls could shake the underpinnings of established science. Kevin and Teri (beautiful women on this blog's banner) did a great job on this video. They are taking their channel to dizzying heights.

The upcoming Bigfoot expedition

The "March Monkey Madness" expedition is on. I have secured the campsite permits from the state of Florida and we are getting ready. This area is Hugh and there have been two BFRO reported Bigfoot sightings in here. We are getting ready for a success.

The Green Swamp Bigfoot sighting video

This is the important part of the Bigfoot sighting video taken in the Florida Green Swamp. I am holding back the entire video to protect my rights to it. Good news. We will soon begin shooting a pilot episode for a potential cable TV Bigfoot show. The guys I currently work with are already TV production professionals and understand how this stuff is done. I will be learning along the way. I have purposly surrounded myself with talented guys and it is now paying off. We have brought in an outsider to manage, produce and edit the project. This project will last months.

We are in the planning stages and this video will be part of it. We are also lining up people who have come forward with Bigfoot pictures, videos and cast from Florida that have not posted anything on the net or contacted BFRO. Witnesses and material will be unique to this project.

We are putting in all we have to make this a go. I am sure people will find the show not only entertaining, but as this video shows, we will present  compelling evidence. We may even through in a little monkey for entertainment.
