Compare this photo I shot from the same spot after I took this 51 second video of something very large standing in a clearing and turning side to side. I don't know what it was. It was at least 200 yards away and could only be seen barely with a 400 mm lense. You will have to make up your own mind on this.
This was taken in the SWIFMUD area North of Tampa Florida where I had taken the "blobsquatch" image after the water levels receded.
This was late in the day after I had filmed video for over a couple of hours. Something caught my eye from a considerable distance. This is not easy. I shot the film and I am still not sure what I am looking at. When I went to photo mode on my camera, the thing no longer seemed to be there.
In the SWIFMUD area that Ihave been concentrating on for the last two weeks, I have found my second series of Bigfoot Footprints. I call them the Florida Bigfoot because I simply don't know what type of creature could have left them, and who would have had such a bigfoot and been walking around out here barefoot. That would stretch the imagination to believe that.
This one was found when I was visiting the area again and aproaching where I took the "Fasano Photo" of the object that was walking away from me as I arived on October 13. The structure looks interesting but I am not sure if it was before. I don't think so. The weather in Florida for the last couple weeks has been hot with a high preasure system hovering over the State. That means no storms or rain that could have caused such damage.
This area was very simular to the Watershed area that Paul Freeman worked for in Washington State. The Green Swamp SWIFMUD area that I found these prints in has periods of low and high water. The low water will yield prints of the Sasquath that is out there. Freeman exploited that fact, so did I.
A Virginia-based team of Bigfoot enthusiasts is hoping to find the legendary creature in the bogs and trees of West Virginia's Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
Members of Sasquatch Watch of Virginia are camping out with GPS navigators, cameras, voice recorders and plaster of Paris to make casts of huge footprints.
Billy Willard, founder of the group, says they often look for Bigfoot in places where there have been sightings.
But Bruce Harrington, the group's skeptic, says he has yet to see convincing proof that a creature like Sasquatch exists.
Last year, a different group of Bigfoot researchers searched unsuccessfully for the creature in the Greenbrier River region.
On a cool but sunny October day, Dolly Sods is beautiful. The sun shines through the trees and off the endless boulder fields.
But in its endless wilderness, Dolly Sods is a little bit spooky, too. It’s a still, quiet place. And according to Willard, it’s a great place to search for Sasquatch.
“Typically we go out and visit sites where there’s been previous sighting reports,” Willard said. “We do get encounters called in to a hotline that we have, and we go out and we’ll research those areas looking for evidence such as footprints, strange stick tree structures and that kind of thing.”
Willard is the founder of Sasquatch Watch of Virginia, a group made up of Bigfoot enthusiasts who collect information about the legendary being in their spare time.
They’re camping out in Dolly Sods, traipsing around in the wilderness area’s forests and bogs looking for signs of Sasquatch.
“As large as they claim this creature is, it’s got to have some weight to it. And if it’s walking around out here, it’s going to leave a footprint,” Willard says.
He finds something he thinks resembles a Sasquatch print in the bog, deep in the mud.
“It could be a small track right there,” he said. “We’ve got a track right here, not as big as the other one we saw over there. And again, it’s old, you can tell it’s been here since the rain. But that might actually be cast-able. There might be some toe impressions in there.”
He pulls out some plaster of Paris and makes a cast.
Some of the members of Sasquatch Watch of Virginia have actually had a sighting—where they’ve come face-to-face with a creature they believe is a Bigfoot. But even those who haven’t believe the creature exists.
Bruce Harrington is the self-described skeptic of the group.
“I think one of the biggest arguments that people have against the existence of Bigfoot is there hasn’t been any proof,” Harrington said. “From a logical standpoint, absence of proof is not proof of absence. So just because we don’t have the proof that these creatures exist doesn’t mean they don’t exist.”
The men—and the group is made up solely of men—have an impressive amount of gear with them. They pull out GPS navigators, trail cameras, regular cameras, voice recorders and evidence bags.
The latter is used when a team member finds suspicious droppings. Into the bag it goes, to be sent off to a lab for testing.
Everybody has their own theories about what kind of creature Sasquatch is. Though he’s been hunting for years, Willard has never had a sighting.
“I could accept that this thing is human, whether it’s an undiscovered Native American tribe of people, I could accept that this is some kind of North American ape that just simple hasn’t been documented yet,” he said. “Those are the two main theories.
“Now you have some more out there theories, like these things are aliens and came off a UFO. That they go through dimensions and can walk through different portals. I think this thing’s flesh and blood, whether it’s human or more ape.”
Though their weekend in Dolly Sods didn’t lead to any sightings, Sasquatch Watch of Virginia is still looking for proof. They say it’s out there.

I have to admit, I am late to this genre of music. This stuff is cool and Tom Yamarone and his brother have a CD out of bigfoot songs and they keep up a really cool website blog bigfootsongs.com
They also go out looking for bigfoot in Northern California and have run into bears in the early morning. This video shows how easy it is to scare off a black bear. I hope it is that easy if I ever run into a black bear in Florida.

Autumn is sort of in Florida. Some of the leaves have turned colors and daytime lows are now in the low '70's. Big deal right. For us, it is a welcome relief from the extreme heat and humidity we have had for the last seven months.
This is always my favorite time of year. I can now get out on expeditions and do overnight camping without the bugs eating me alive.
There are posters on YouTube that think my skunk ape was really the moss on the second tree shot in different lighting conditions...The lighitng has been the same for the last 10 days in Florida, and I have been in field at the same time each time I was there.
The white tree with the black spots is to the left almost off the image. When you consider how thick and how much space my "blobsquatch" took up, I don't know how this could be it.
The poster at first thought it might be a "stump" and ordered me to go find it. Now that there is no stump, he thinks it is the tree with moss. Since it is unlikely to be the tree, I guess it will now be a UFO or something.
This is a video that I made about 3 minutes before I had the sighing below. I was showing why Florida was a good place to look for the sasquatch primate.
I went into the Swiftmud area where I had the Florida Bigfoot sighting to see if it was a classic blobsquatch, or if I had indeed captured a real creature on film. The are was the same type of area where Paul Freeman captured his famous bigfoot video. The sun was beginning to set and I had to work fast.
I found that the "blobsquatch" was gone. I could not find anything out in the area that came close to what I saw. In fact, the area seemed to be compromised. It was as if additional tree breaks and downed limbs had been introduced to the area only in the spot where I had the sighting.
Coming out here, I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Six days ago, the area was muddy. Today, things seemed to be a little dried out. Only in the sighting area did things get a little hairy. I saw what looked like a Hugh tree break to cover the trail. I don't believe that was there on October 13 when I was out here first.
I know I was in the right spot because of the "face" that was on one of the trees. Just another thing that gave me the creeps.
I know now that I had an encounter. What I saw and filmed was a real Skunk Ape.
I went out to an old horse trail on the East Side of Hillsborough county. I was at work at 3 in the morning and my batteries were low. So, I scouted out an area that is the type of place I like, rural, isolated, smells like dung. Go figure us Bigfoot Hunters and our methodology.
This is an analysis of the Swifmud video I took on October 13, 2009 which many show a Florida Bigfoot. What I was trying to do was use perspective with angles to determine height and possible locomotion of the blobsquatch or sasquatch. I believe that what the images and video show is that the object was walking casually back into the woods.
I will get back out into this area to verify that the object is not there anymore. The weather in Florida is now cooling off and we are getting into what I call "Bigfoot Season."
The third week of October in Florida is a time that is special to residents. That is when the first Cold Front will make its way into the sunshine state and bring us some real Fall weather. I have waited a long time for this.
I went to a Swiftmud area north of Tampa which is the type of area That Paul Freeman worked as a ranger in and he found many sasquatch prints in that watershed area. That was my theory about the Florida Swiftmud area, and that is why I have been waiting months for the rainy season to end, and the cooler weather to settle in. I was not disapointed.
The area was very muddy from the months of rain that we have been having, and I felt the time was now to move in to find prints. Waiting a week or so might not yield anything. I am glad I did. I found what I believe to be two different size footprints that would mean that an adult was caring for a young and they were walking side by side.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy this one. These college kids come across something moving in the bushes and it pursued them. This is their claim.
we walked deep into the woods at a recent hotspot of bigfoot sightings at the Flaming Gorge in Utah. We made bigfoot calls and recieved a semi close response. It was a loud scream. We next proceeded to make wood knocks with a large branch against a tree. Much to my absolute shock and horror what sounded like a small tree wacking the hell out of another tree in response to our knock sounded in response. We were semi deep in the woods and the "knock" occured almost 60-80 yards away followed by deep gutteral monkey like grunts. We ran for our lives back to the car, whatever it was was now making its way directly towards us. Once to the car the creature was now still advancing our position and was making deep "whooping" like sounds, grunts, and a bark. I'm convinced it was moments away from crashing through the woods and towards the car.
I believe that the best approach to bigfoot research is to keep doing what the YouTubers are doing already. Going out into the field and chronicling our adventures, and self-policing what we do with high-tech analysis. It is time, however, to take it to a different level.
There is a real opportunity to gather DNA evidence without a dead body in a laboratory. Let me explain. In the field, we come across hair and feces (eventually you will). These samples should be gathered and analyzed. I have to admit, unless you know someone at a University Lab, that is going to be a little difficult. That is why the visual is so important.
Just look at recent developments.
In the past few days Dr. Estaban Srmiento and Dr. Jeff Meldrum have been the guest on two Blogtalk radio shows hosted by Youtube bigfooters. That is extraordinary. They know that the searching we are doing may very well uncover DNA without the actual capture of the beast. With DNA we would know more about the animal. Right now, we don't know enough about their societal structure to guess their next moves. We must be doing something right to be taken so seriously by these eminent scientist that have been featured on MONSTER QUEST.
From Jeff Meldrum's "Sasquatch - Where Legend Meets Science" Chapter 15, Splitting Hairs and Molecules: DNA and Physical Evidence.
"Precise hair identification - trichinology - is a challenging process requiring
an extensive reference collection with which to compare the unknown sample.
There can be considerable individual variation in hair length, color, texture,
and stage of growth within a species, as well as variation between different
regions on the body of a single individual animal. Arriving at a conclusive
identification can be a labor-intensive process requiring exhaustive comparisons
with known standards.
In the past there have been several independent
analyses of hair attributed to sasquatch, more often than not conducted at the
request of an amateur investigator. Usually, the hairs were readily identified
as belonging to a commonly known animal such as bear, coyote, or human. However,
some hair samples were of indeterminate identity. While an indeterminate
identification of an alleged "sasquatch hair" is interpreted by some as
indication of an unknown animal, it is more conservatively regarded by others as
the lack of a comprehensive collection of hair samples from known species of
animals with which to compare the strand in question. Indeed this would be the
only reasonable outcome for hair that might in fact have come from a sasquatch.
All that could be concluded is what species the hair did not appear to belong
to. Conclusive identification depends on a match to a known sample of hair,
i.e., an established standard. Without a confirmed sample of sasquatch hair, any
hair truly originating from a sasquatch would necessarily languish in the
indeterminate category. Such a standard is unlikely to be acknowledged until
hair is pulled directly from a sasquatch body by a qualified analyst."
Lucy's not your mama anymore. Ardi is. Lucy turns out to be more than a million years too young. That's right, the newest fossil skeleton out of Africa to take the title of "the earliest known skeleton from the human branch of the primate family tree," is Ardipithecusramidus. Its fossil remains, a fairly complete skeleton presented by scientists on Thursday, are thought to be 4.4 million years old. Worlds Before Our Own, indeed! This whole thing is suspect.
This is the critical part of the article:

Africa to take its place in the gallery of human origins. At an age of 4.4
million years, it lived well before and was much more primitive than the
famous 3.2-million-year-old Lucy, of the species Australopithecus afarensis."
Dr. Esteban Sarmiento commented on this on the MNBRT Radio show Sunday night. He said science is now all about research dollars. It is now a competition to outdo your opponent. That is why scientist are under pressure to find the "OLDEST" fossil because it drives research money. The scientist that found this fossil would never claim that it was just a descendant of a chimp. They have to now fudge their study to show that it may be a human. They, of course, cannot prove this. The genetic split between ape and humans happened 3 million years ago. The genetic and DNA lab test conclude this. To claim otherwise is a misrepresentation of facts, and entering into the area of a hoax. Bad science. Bad science.

This sort of thing, I believe, is going on in the "GLOBAL WARMING" scam.
The letter below was sent to the Sarasota Florida Sheriffs department in 2001. The lady that sent it said that this ape like creature was stealing apples off of her back porch at night. She said she lived near Myakka River State Park and she wondered if someone had lost an orangutan. The letter was signed anonymous.
This event gained much publicity in Florida when it happened. The photos look real and the foliage is that if a palmetto which is only found in Florida. Many people think that it is an orangutan or a new species of Ape. I believe that the episode is a hoax. I will explain this in a subsequent post.
You must admit, this would be a very scary thing to find in your backyard at night. There is a possibility that it is real, but I seriously doubt that. I have lived in Florida all of my life and can spot the real deal.
Stay tuned for a future post that will prove that the Myakka Skunk Ape Sarasota photos were a fraud. I do believe the skunk ape exist. It was just not this one.

Sarmiento is one of the scientists who has fully examined the Skookum Cast, a casting of a partial body print that many believe is that of a sasquatch. Part of the reason I got into this was the potential for aerobic excercise. Since it is getting cooler in Florida, I expect to put in many hours in the field. Now, I may actually get into a little better shape!
Bigfoot Radio talk is heating up! Bill Munns was an excellent guest on the Tim Stoval and Chuck007 Blogtalk Radio show "Bigfoot Busters" on Tuesday night. Bill Munns was a special effects guy in Hollywood who has worked on many movies and is using his expertness toward the hunt for Bigfoot, especially on the Patterson film which he believes to be authentic. His input was recently used on an episode of MONSTER QUEST on the HISTORY CHANNEL.
Munns has conducted many experiments that have illucidated just how difficult it would have been for Patterson and Bob Gimlin to have hoaxed that 16mm film. On the episode "CRITICAL EVIDENCE" Munns showed how Patterson and Gimlin would have had to have had access to state-of-the-art tech that neither of them had. Munns did an experiment using five different Bigfoot heads to show how it was the face that no hoaxer of that time could have created.
The five part series on MONSTER QUEST called CRITICAL EVIDENCE I believe to be the best series yet to show the reason why Bigfoot exist. I have all five of them here.
